Best chili so far made with Thai Red Curry Paste and Alfresco Chicken Sausage.

Recipe Ingredients for January 2011 Best Chili

16 oz Red Kidney Beans, Dry
1 cup water
1 tomato
1/2 yellow pepper
2 red peppers
2 yellow onions
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons thai red curry paste
5/8 lb lean ground beef
1/4 lb sausage, chicken
1 1/2 cups whole kernel corn
1 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground cumin

Recipe Directions for January 2011 Best Chili

  1. Pre-boil and soak beans overnight. Dump in crockpot in morning.

  2. Chop all veggies and put them and canned veggies in crockpot.

  3. Pre-brown beef halfway and put in.

  4. Slice chicken sausage and throw in.

  5. Add all water and seasonings, stir together and set for 8hrs on low.
