Recipe Ingredients for Jan's Homemade Chili

2 lbs ground chicken, browned
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, diced and crushed
1/2 cup chili powder
2 tbsp. orange peel
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. smoked paprika
1 Red pepper, diced
1 Poblano pepper, diced
1 Yellow pepper, diced
15 oz Black beans, drain & rinse
15 oz Blackeye Peas, drain & rinse
15 1/2 oz White Kidney beans, drain & rinse
15 1/2 oz Red Kidney beans, drain & rinse
45 oz Crushed tomatoes
45 oz Diced tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Jan's Homemade Chili

  1. Brown the ground chicken.

  2. Place all ingredients in crock pot to cook through until warm and bubbly.

  3. Top with crackers or cheese, as desired.
