Recipe Ingredients for Jan's German Red Potato Salad

32 oz Red Potatoes, Hannaford
5 serving Turkey Bacon with Sea Salt, Oscar Meyer
0.75 cup Onions
28 grams Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
10.5 serving Vinegar
6 oz Water
0.12 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Jan's German Red Potato Salad

  1. In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside. Drain all but 2 tablespoons drippings. Cook onion until tender.

  2. Stir in flour and blend well. Add vinegar and water. Cook and stir until bubbly and slightly thick. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Crumble bacon. Gently stir in bacon and potatoes. Serve warm.
