combo of a burrito and a taco. Use Pace medium taco sauce for best flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Jannid's Sanchos

1 pound lean ground turkey
1/2 t olive oil
1 1/2 c black beans, canned
1 1/2 c Taco Sauce
1 t chili powder, ancho
1 t cumin
8 whole wheat tortillas
2 c lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 c onion, chopped
4 pepper, jalapeno, chopped

Recipe Directions for Jannid's Sanchos

  1. in a medium pan, cook the ground turkey in the olive oil. Add about 1 C of taco sauce, and the chili and cumin powders. Simmer

  2. Drain and rinse the canned black beans, place in a small pan and add about 1/2 C of taco sauce. Simmer

  3. Chop lettuce, tomatoes, and onion and place on a plate.

  4. Have everyone make their own Sanchos at the table. Those that don't calorie count can add cheese. Those that like spicy can add Tabasco or picante.
