Use your fave mushroom or mix them up. I like cremini, shitake, and oyster together. About 2 cups of mushrooms.

Recipe Ingredients for Jannid's Mushroom Saute

12 oz mushrooms, cut in half
1/2 onion, sliced
2 t olive oil
1 T garlic, chopped
1/2 t black pepper
1 T lemon juice
2 T bread crumbs
1 T parsley, chopped

Recipe Directions for Jannid's Mushroom Saute

  1. Cut the cremini in half and slice the onion, saute in olive oil til most of the way cooked, add the garlic and saute for another couple minutes, toss in black pepper, lemon juice, bread crumbs and parsley.

  2. serve immediately - best piping hot.
