Recipe Directions for Jane Brody bran muffins

pour 1 cup boiling water over bran cereal. Mix almond (or soy) milk with molasses and oil and add to cooled cereal mixture. Mix flour and 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda and add to mixture, stirring until just moistened. Cover and let sit for 1 hour. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
