Recipe Ingredients for Jamie's Sweet and Sour Chicken

48 oz Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
2 tsp Crushed Garlic
0.13 tsp Ginger, Ground
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
8 oz Fine White Wine Vinegar
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 cup Ketchup
0.13 cup Cornstarch
1 fl oz Water
0.25 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Jamie's Sweet and Sour Chicken

  1. Cut chicken into cubes.

  2. Cook over medium heat until cooked through.

  3. Combine oil, garlic, ginger, cup of water, vinegar, sugar, and ketchup.

  4. Cook mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

  5. Combine corn starch, salt, and remaining water. Stir until smooth and add to sauce.

  6. Cook until thickened.

  7. Add chicken to sauce and serve over rice.
