Easy and fast stir fry dish, no Chinese food experience required! Note that the La Choy nutritional information in the recipe may not be correct as CC does not carry this sauce in its database. I substituted the closest I could find.

Recipe Ingredients for James' Quick Chinese Garlic Ginger Chicken

3 chicken breasts
3 cups Jasmine rice, uncooked
2 cups mixed vegetables
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 cup La Choy Garlic Ginger Stir-Fry Sauce and Marinade
1/2 onion, sliced into bite-sized pieces
6 tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce

Recipe Directions for James' Quick Chinese Garlic Ginger Chicken

  1. Cook the chicken breasts by grilling, roasting in the oven, or pan frying (recommend grilling). Cut up your onion while the chicken cooks.

  2. At the same time, prepare 3 cups of Jasmine rice per the package instructions.

  3. At the same time, start your frozen vegetables. We use a combination of corn, green beans, peas, carrots, and lima beans.

  4. When the chicken finishes cooking, cut the chicken into bite-size chunks, warm some vegetable oil in a deep frying pan (medium-high heat), and add the chicken to the frying pan. Also add the onions to the frying pan at this point.

  5. When the onions become translucent, your vegetables should be done. Drain the vegetables and add them to the frying.

  6. Add the La Choy Garlic Ginger sauce to the pan and mix.

  7. Reduce heat to simmer and cover until rice finishes.

  8. Serve the chicken and vegetables on top of the rice, add soy sauce.
