Recipe Ingredients for Jambalaya w/beans

14 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
14 oz light red kidney beans
1/2 lb smoked sausage
1/4 lb italian sausage
1 cup rice
3 tbsp minced onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Jambalaya w/beans

  1. cook the meat

  2. add the liquids, rice, beans and spices

  3. bring to boil

  4. reduce & cook covered 20 minutes

  5. add shrimp

  6. cook 5 more minutes
