Recipe Ingredients for Jamaican Cabbage Salad

2 cups shredded cabbage
2 medium carrots (grated)
1/2 cucumber (cut into sticks)
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/8 cup olive oil

Recipe Directions for Jamaican Cabbage Salad

  1. Place all ingredients into a container

  2. Pour 1 cup boiling water into the container

  3. Cover the container for 20 minutes

  4. Drain the liquid

  5. Add the sugar, oil and vinegar and toss

  6. Serve at room temperature
