Recipe Ingredients for Jalapeno Cornbread Poppers with Whipped Maple Butter

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup flour
1/2 c. oil
1 c. almond milk
1 c. diced onion
3 chopped jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup corn kernel
1 cup vegan margarine
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup canola oil

Prepare as you would corn bread. roll in balls and fry in hot canola oil.
