Hearty spaghetti sauce chalked full of vitamins and nutrients. Feel free to sub out these easy-to-find ingredients with fresh herbs and spices. I prefer them fresh. I also don't usually use turkey because I'm vegan. Side note: try with quinoa spaghetti noodles. It's gluten-free and tastes awesome! Great for sticking in a container and eating for the week.

Recipe Ingredients for Jake's Spaghetti Sauce

5 cloves, raw Garlic
80 grams Onions
2 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
20 medium mushroom Portobello Mushrooms
8 oz Tomato Paste
12 oz Tomato Sauce
29 oz Diced Tomatoes
1 cup Vegetable Broth
16 oz Ground Turkey
1 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
0.75 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
0.75 Teaspoon Thyme
2 tsp Oregano, Ground
1 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Jake's Spaghetti Sauce

Brown ground turkey. Put in crock pot. Chop onion very fine, dice green peppers, slice mushrooms, press garlic. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth. Season with pepper, sale, brown sugar, basil, thyme, and oregano. Simmer for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
