This recipie makes two 12 inch pizzas. I usually make 8 slices per pizza. Very simple, and very good.

Recipe Ingredients for Jackie's Pizza Crust

3 cups flour
1 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbs active dry yeast
2 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Jackie's Pizza Crust

  1. Combine water, yeast, and 1 1/2 of flour in a large bowl. Mix well. Add oil, salt, and remaining flour gradually. Work the ingredients together until dough holds it's shape. Place dough on a slightly floured surface and work until smooth. Add flour if dough is too sticky, knead about 5 minutes.

  2. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl. Cover with a tea towel and let rise until doubled in size. About an hour. Punch it down, seperate into two balls. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Stretch dough onto 12 inch pizza pan. Top with your choice of toppings. Bake 15 minutes at 450-475 degrees.
