Sugar-free wannabe pancakes loaded with protein

Recipe Ingredients for Jacked Cakes

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp whole wheat flour
1 banana
1 egg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Jacked Cakes

Mix the oats and water, let them sit. Mix in the remaining ingredients, top with whatever you like (frozen berries? more banana? chocolate chips or shredded coconut?) and cook them on medium-low heat in a non-stick pan. They need to be cooked slowly or they just have the consistency of oatmeal in the centre. You can remove the tbsp of flour for a gluten-free recipe. You can substitute the egg for another banana for a vegan recipe.
