Recipe Ingredients for Italian Wedding Soup with White Beans

5 serving Italian Turkey Sausage
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 cloves, raw Garlic
1 medium raw Carrots
3 potato medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia) Potatoes, Red, Flesh And Skin
10 oz Steamfresh Green Beans
1/4 cup Boil-in-Bag Brown Rice
48 oz 99% Fat Free All Natural Chicken Broth Rtsb
0.25 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
31 oz Bushs Best Cannellini Beans
29 oz Diced Tomatoes with Basil Garlic and Oregano

Recipe Directions for Italian Wedding Soup with White Beans

  1. Skin and cook the sausage in a teflon pan on the stove. Cut in diced pieces and place in a soup pot. To the same pan, add onion and pressed garlic. Cook until soft. Add potatoes, carrots and green beans. Cook until semi-soft.

  2. Add vegetables to soup pot. Add chicken broth, water, diced tomatoes and beans. Mix well. Add seasoning and simmer for several hours. Cook rice by package instructions. Add to soup 30 minutes before serving. Serve topped with parmesan cheese. I have oil in the recipe in case needed for cooking of vegetables.
