Recipe Ingredients for Italian Turkey Saute

2 tsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
15 oz crushed tomatoes (97130)
2 tbsp red wine
1.76 g (2 tsp) minced fresh oregano (75700)
3 cups cooked turkey, cubed (preferably white meat)
2 tbsp minced fresh basil
2 tbsp capers

Recipe Directions for Italian Turkey Saute

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and saute for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and saute for 2 more minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes and wine. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
