A classic recipe remade to be less fat and lower calories. The turkey breast keeps the loaf moist, white fresh basil and tomato sauce give the Italian seasoning a very fresh organic flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Italian Turkey Meatloaf

1 pound of ground turkey breast
8 ounce tomato sauce
1/3 cup of fresh basil, chopped
1/3 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 ounces of provolone cheese, chopped
2 egg whites
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for Italian Turkey Meatloaf

  1. Take ground turkey breast and place in medium bowl.

  2. Take 4 ounces of the tomato sauce and add to turkey breast. Add fresh basil, chopped onions, minced garlic, bread crumbs, egg whites and cheese to bowl

  3. Mix all ingredients together.

  4. Shape meat mixture into loaf pan.

  5. Top loaf with 4 ounce of tomato sauce

  6. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes
