A delicious homemade skillet meal for your family of four! Sweet Italian sausage + ground sirloin (or sub ground turkey for leaner version) with onion, egg noodles, diced tomatoes with basic, oregano and garlic, beans, bell peppers and broccoli.

Recipe Directions for Italian Sausage and Veggie Skillet

  1. Bring water for noodles to rolling boil. Cook noodles in large pot of water until desired firmness is ALMOST reached. Set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, cook pork sausage and ground sirloin (and 1/4 cup diced onion if so desired) in large skillet until brown; drain.

  3. While cooking meat, chop broccoli, bell peppers and open can of navy beans. Rinse beans.

  4. Put meat back in skillet, add noodles, can of diced tomatoes with seasonings; stir. Stir in bell peppers, broccoli and beans. Simmer until noodles are done and your veggies should still be a little crunchy (and more nutritious!)
