Recipe Ingredients for Italian Sausage and Peppers

5 serving Italian Turkey Sausage
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 cup, sliced Onions
1 1/3 small raw Red Onion
4 cloves, raw Garlic
1 tsp Oregano, Ground
1 Teaspoon Basil
2 serving Cooking Wine

Recipe Directions for Italian Sausage and Peppers

  1. Remove casing off sausage links. Brown on all sides and set aside.

  2. Melt butter in same skillet. Add all chopped vegetables. Mince garlic cloves and add to skillet. Add spices and mix thoroughly. Slice sausage and put back into skillet. Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender but not mushy. Serve on rice or pasta if desired.
