Italian turkey sausage and peppers

Recipe Ingredients for Italian Sausage and Peppers

1 lb Turkey Italian Sausage
3 bell peppers
1 onion
2 tomato
1 c mushrooms
2 c tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp basil leaves
1 tbsp oregano
1/8 c olive oil

Recipe Directions for Italian Sausage and Peppers

  1. 2 tbsp olive oil in skillet

  2. slice lengthwise onion and pepers, add to skillet

  3. Add salt pepper, basil and oregano.

  4. Saute under vegetables are tender.

  5. Bring sausage to boil in unsalted water, and cook 10 minutes, halfway through pierce sasauag eiwht fook to reduce fat in meat.

  6. Drain, slice and put into skillet with vegetables.

  7. Add chopped tomotos, mushrooms, and tomoto sauce, simmer at medium for 30 minutes
