spaghetti with tomatoes, arugula and pancetta

Recipe Ingredients for italian pasta

400 grams Spaghetti
12 ea. Raw Tomato Cherry
5 slice Pancetta
3 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 clove Garlic
50 grams Arugula
0.5 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
50 grams Parmesan, Hard Cheese
1 tbsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for italian pasta

  1. cook the pasta in salted water

  2. fry the chopped onions and garlic in the olive oil. add the diced pancetta.

  3. add the quartered tomatoes (only heat, don't overcook them)

  4. add the cooked pasta to the sauce and add salt and pepper to taste.

  5. top with parmesan cheese shavings and fresh arugula.

  6. (you can also add toasted pine nuts to the sauce, but you have to count the extra kcal)
