Recipe Ingredients for Italian meatloaf roulade

1 lb ground turkey breast
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 egg
2 cups spinach, steamed
1 cup mushrooms, slices
1 cup mozzarella, shredded, skim
1 cup pasta sauce

Recipe Directions for Italian meatloaf roulade

  1. pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. mix ground turkey, egg, onions together, mix in rosemary, thyme, and orageno, salt and pepper.

  3. lightly steam spinach and mushrooms

  4. remove as much moisture as possible from these

  5. lay meat mixture onto wax paper, create a 1/2" think sheet of meat

  6. spread spinach and mushrooms evenly over meat sheet

  7. sprinkle with cheese

  8. carefully roll meat forming the equivalent of a christmas log

  9. remove wax paper

  10. place in a lightlyy greased baking pan

  11. bake uncovered for 45 minutes or so

  12. remove loaf and let set 10 minutes or so

  13. while it sets..heat pasta sauce

  14. serve meatloaf with a 1/4 cup of pasta
