Like my grandmother used to make. Can substitute Romano pecorino for parmesan.

Recipe Ingredients for Italian meatballs, homemade

2 lbs extra lean ground beef
3/4 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Italian meatballs, homemade

Mix all ingredients well, by hand. Form 1/4 lb meatballs. Brown the outside then place in sauce to simmer for 30 minutes.
