Recipe Ingredients for Italian Lentils & Bulgar

1/4 cup Red Lentils
1/4 cup Bulgar Wheat
1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 can Mushrooms
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 cup Spaghetti Sauce Traditional
2 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese

Recipe Directions for Italian Lentils & Bulgar

  1. cook lentils & bulgar till soft

  2. meanwhile sautee veggies till tender

  3. add sauce

  4. add lentils & bulgar

  5. simmer 15 minutes to combine

  6. mix in parm and crushed red pepper if desired
