Recipe Ingredients for Italian Grilled Cheese

1 slice, small Bread, French Or Vienna, Toasted
1 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
50 grams Oregano
1 clove Garlic
0.25 cup shelled (50 halves) Walnuts, English
0.13 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
2.5 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe

Recipe Directions for Italian Grilled Cheese

  1. Basil & Oregano Pesto: Put all of the ingredients in a food processor, blend and set aside.

  2. Italian Grilled Cheese: Put your griddle (or panini press) on medium heat.

  3. Spray with cooking spray.

  4. Assemble your sandwiches.

  5. Cook until lightly browned and the cheese has melted.

  6. Cut in half and serve right away.
