Recipe Ingredients for Italian Chicken & Rice with Vegetables

1 tbsp oil
1 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup broccoli
1 cup carrots
1 cup red peppers
284 ml chicken broth
1 1/2 cups basmati rice, uncooked
1/4 cup kraft zesty italian dressing
4 tbsp soya sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Italian Chicken & Rice with Vegetables

  1. Heat: Oil in large skillet on medium heat, Add chicken (plus garlic granutes for flavour); cook and stir until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.

  2. ADD: vegetablles; coooked and stirred for 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp - tender, stir in broth until brought into a boil.

  3. STIR: Dressing , and brown sugar, soya sauce. Reduce heat to low. Cook 5 minutes or until liquid is absorded and chicken is cooked through.

  4. ** If broth is too thin add veloutine as many times as you want to thicken the broth.

  5. Boil: Water in pot on high(different pot)

  6. ADD: Rice, after a while add some salt

  7. Stir: Once it starts to boil (bubble)

  8. ** When the rice is all absorbed add butter to it.
