Mediterranean bean and tuna salad

Recipe Ingredients for Italian bean and tuna salad

1 cup chopped Red Onion
4 tbsp Vinegar red wine
15 oz Cannellini White Kidney Beans
6 1/2 oz drained BUMBLE BEE Solid White Albacore in Water
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 clove Garlic
4 teaspoon Juice
4 tbsp Parsley
1 grams Sage
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
20 grams Lowfat Plain
1 tbsp, drained Capers, Canned

Recipe Directions for Italian bean and tuna salad

  1. Toss the onion with 2 T of the vinegar an add water to cover. Let soak 30 minutes and drain.

  2. Slice the red onion very thinly. Mince garlic. Chop parsley and sage.

  3. Toss together the remaining ingredients (including the remaining vinegar). Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with tomato slices.
