Recipe Ingredients for Italian Basmati Rice

2 cups cooked Basmati Rice
1 red pepper diced
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
12 oz can diced tomatoes
3 cloves garlic - chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano

Recipe Directions for Italian Basmati Rice

  1. cook rice according to package.

  2. Saute the the peppers, celery, onion, and garlic in the olive oil for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer until the liquid is reduced by at least half.

  3. pour in rice and mix.
