Recipe Ingredients for Israeli Couscous with Saffron

1/2 tablespoon olive oil
150 grams Israeli Couscous
10 ounces vegetable broth
1 clove garlic
50 grams onions
1/4 gram saffron
50 grams tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Israeli Couscous with Saffron

  1. Blend tomato and vegetable broth. Set aside.

  2. Saute onions in olive oil until translucent, garlic and saffron threads until fragrant.

  3. Add Israeli couscous and stir until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Add broth-tomato mixture. Cook to a boil, cover pot and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
