This delightful dish is wonderful on a cold day. The richness of the chicken and couscous will warm your heart.

Recipe Ingredients for Israeli Chicken

48 oz Boneless Skinless Thighs
1 1/2 cup Couscous, Dry
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
28 oz Stewed Tomatoes
5 clove Garlic
1/2 fruit (2-1/8" dia) Lemons
1 tsp Saffron
170 1/10 grams Champagne
1 1/2 cup Peas, Green
2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Israeli Chicken

Cook frozen thighs for 30 minutes or until brown. Deglaze pan and set drippings aside. Brew the saffron in 2 cups of hot water while you brown the couscous. Add champagne, sliced onions, lemon slices, tomatoes, and saffron water to the pan. Cook covered for another 15 minutes stirring occasionally until the couscous is done. Enjoy!
