Super spicy pork chops. Goes great with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Island Pork

1 1/2 lb lean pork
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup salsa
1 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Island Pork

  1. Rinse and pat dry pork.

  2. In a small bowl, combine spices; rub over both sides of pork.

  3. In a nonstick skillet heat oil over medium heat.

  4. Saute pork about 3-5 minutes on each side or until done.

  5. Remove from pan and keep warm.

  6. In same skillet, add pineapple with juice and salsa.

  7. Raise heat to medium-high and bring to a boil.

  8. Cook 1-2 minutes, add oregano and continue to cook for 1-2 more minutes, or until sauce in thickened.

  9. Serve pork topped with sauce.
