Recipe Ingredients for Irish Oatmeal

40 g steel cut oatmeal
1 cup water
1/8 cup light soymilk
1 tablespoon walnuts
3 oz strawberries

Recipe Directions for Irish Oatmeal

  1. Sprinkle 1/4 cup (40g) steel cut oatmeal into one cup briskly boiling water.

  2. Cook on low heat until almost all the water is absorbed. Allow to stand, covered, while you chop your strawberries and walnuts.

  3. Put oatmeal in a bowl and top with soymilk and the chopped walnuts and strawberries.
