Home made Irish Cream using fat free half-and-half and sweetened condensed milk. To reduce calories even more, used low-fat or fat-free sweetened condensed milk.

Recipe Ingredients for Irish Cream Liqueur

1 1/2 cup fat free half and half
14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract

Recipe Directions for Irish Cream Liqueur

  1. In a blender, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, Irish whiskey, instant coffee, chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, and almond extract.

  2. Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds.

  3. Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for at least 1 day before serving.

  4. Shake well before serving. Pour 4 ounces over crushed ice.

  5. Note: Original recipe calls for 1 cup half-and-half and 1 cup whiskey. I add a bit more if each to make it less sweet.
