This is a hearty Italian dish that is great for special Sunday dinners or to serve to guests. With a pasta base and the sauce on top, it's sure to please everyone.

Recipe Ingredients for Inside-Out Ravioli

10 ounce frozen chopped spinach
1 lb ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
16 ounce spaghetti sauce
8 ounce tomato sauce
6 ounce tomato paste
7 ounce mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
7 ounce shell pasta
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
2 eggs, well beaten
1/8 cup salad oil

Recipe Directions for Inside-Out Ravioli

  1. 1. Cook spinach according to package directions.

  2. 2. Drain, reserving liquid; add water to make 1 cup.

  3. 3. Brown ground turkey, onion and garlic

  4. 4. Stir spinach liquid and next 6 ingredients into meat mixture.

  5. 5. Simmer 10 minutes.

  6. 6. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions and drain

  7. 7. Combine spinach with pasta and the remaining ingredients.

  8. 8. Spread in a greased 9x13x2-inch baking dish.

  9. 9. Top with meat sauce and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.

  10. 10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

  11. 11. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
