Recipe Ingredients for indy's posole

20 ounces pork loin
4 cups water
29 ounces hominy, canned
14 1/2 ounce tomatos, canned, crushed, mexican style
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1/3 cup green chile
1/4 cup jalapeno, chopped
2 teaspoons vinegar, balsamic
2 teaspoons cumin, ground
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon red pepper, ground
1 teaspoon paprika, smoked
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for indy's posole

  1. in slow cooker:

  2. cook pork and water on high for 2 hours or until cooked thru

  3. remove pork and cut or shred

  4. skim any redsidue from stock

  5. return pork toslow cooker

  6. add remaining ingredients and turn to low cook 3-6 hours

  7. serve
