Recipe Ingredients for indy's ginger carrots

1 pound carrots, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter

Recipe Directions for indy's ginger carrots

  1. put carrots ginger garlic and 3 tablespoons brown sugar in pan

  2. cover with water

  3. cook over high heat 20 minutes or until carrots are fork tender

  4. drain carrots and return to pan

  5. add butter remaining brown sugar stir to coat

  6. add salt and pepper to taste

  7. serve
