Recipe Ingredients for indy's fried rice

2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 cup chopped onion
19 g (3 slices) bacon, cooked and chopped
1/2 cup peas, steamed
3 cups cooked rice
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Recipe Directions for indy's fried rice

  1. heat oil in skillet over medium high heat

  2. add garlic ginger and 1/2 the onion stiring constamtly, cook 1 minute

  3. add bacon and peas

  4. add rice slowly, crumbling any lumps

  5. stiring frequently cook for 3 minutes

  6. make a hole in the center and pour in the egg

  7. scramble the egg and when almost set slowly stir rice into the center keep stiring until egg is well dispersed

  8. add soy sauce and remaing onion as well as any salt and pepper desired

  9. serve
