Recipe Ingredients for indy's cookies- two tone cinnamon

1/2 cup butter
3 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup Cinnamon Chips
1 teaspoons shortening
1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoons shortening

Recipe Directions for indy's cookies- two tone cinnamon

  1. beat butter and cream cheese for 30 seconds

  2. add powdered sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon

  3. beat until combined

  4. beat in egg and vanilla

  5. mix in flour

  6. cover and chill 1 hour

  7. preheat oven to 375

  8. roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thick

  9. use 3 1/2 inch cookie cutter and cut out dough

  10. place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart

  11. bake 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly browned

  12. cool on cookie sheet 1 minute then transfer to wire rack to cool completley

  13. to make cinnamon glaze

  14. place the chips and shortening in bowl

  15. microwave on half power until smooth stiring every 45 seconds

  16. repeat for the white glaze

  17. spread the white glaze over cookie almost to the edges

  18. while still warm and softdrizzle with the cinnaomn glaze- a piping bag is helpful but not necessary

  19. then use a knife to marble the tops by swirling it through the glazes

  20. let stand until set
