Recipe Ingredients for indy's carrot and potato in liver gravy

1 teaspoon olive oil
1 onion
3/4 pounds chicken liver
144 grams (1 cup) steak sauce
3 carrots
1 pound red potato
10 3/4 ounces Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for indy's carrot and potato in liver gravy

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. chop carrots and potao into 1 inch pieces, dice onion

  3. heat oil in pan over medium heat

  4. add onion and cook till soft

  5. add liver and half the steak sauce

  6. cook 5 minutes or till liver no longer appears raw

  7. put potato and carrots in pan, cover and cook in oven for 30 minutes

  8. mix together remaining steak sauce, mushroom soup worchestershire and water pour into pan and stir

  9. cover and cook and additional 30 minutes or until vegetables are fork tender

  10. salt and pepper to taste. serve
