tofu in a nutty spicy sauce served over rice (not included in calories)

Recipe Ingredients for indonesan satay

2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp fresh ginger
1/4 cup boiling water
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 pound tofu
1 tbsp oil

Recipe Directions for indonesan satay

  1. dice garlic and ginger (peeled)

  2. add water, soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, coriander, lem. juice, and cayenne

  3. mix in a food processor or with a hand mixer

  4. cut tofu into 1/2-1/4 in. slices

  5. spread oil over bottom of 9X13 pan

  6. pour thin layer of sauce into pan, add tofu, pour the rest of the sauce over the tofu

  7. Bake at 375 for 20-25 min.

  8. serve over rice
