Recipe Ingredients for Indian Soup/Rachel Ray

1 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
1/2 cup Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
4 tbsp chopped Onions
1 serving Chicken Broth

Recipe Directions for Indian Soup/Rachel Ray

  1. Roast garlic in olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Process 2 cans chickpeas and 1 whole onion.

  3. Add chickpea and onion mix to garlic and oil.

  4. Cook together for 5 mins. to sweeten onion.

  5. Add tumeric (1/2 palm), cardamom (1/2 palm), cumin (1 palm), dash of salt and pepper to taste and mix.

  6. Add 2 cups broth.

  7. Add two cans diced tomatoes.

  8. Simmer and stir.
