Tomato and coconut based red split lentil soup. Serve with fresh spinach, cilantro and naan bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Indian Daal

1 medium Onions
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp. Chili
3 tsp Ginger Root
3 tbsp Olive Oil
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp, ground Cardamom
2 tsp Turmeric, Ground
822 grams Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
400 grams Coconut Milk
1.25 cup Red Lentils
2 tsp Chicken Base

Recipe Directions for Indian Daal

  1. Fry onions with ginger, chili and oil.

  2. Add spices. Stir and fry for a minute. Add tomato, coconut and bullion. Let boil.

  3. Add red split lentils and let simmer for 10 min.
