Recipe Ingredients for Indian Chicken Dal

1 tsp olive oil
1 onion
2 tsp curry powder
1 1/2 cups cooked lentils
15 oz canned tomatoes
1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless
1/4 tsp salt
62 1/2 g fat free yogurt

Recipe Directions for Indian Chicken Dal

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan and cook onion until softened but not brown.

  2. Stir in curry powder and cook 20-30 seconds until aromatic.

  3. Stir in lentils, tomatoes, chicken and cook, stirring often, until heated through.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in yogurt.

  5. Serve immediately.
