1.5 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 small Onions
2 clove Garlic
3 tbsp Curry Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
0.5 tsp Ginger Root
1 serving Sugar
2 Serving Chicken
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
8 oz Plain Lowfat
1 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
0.5 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne

Recipe Directions for Indian Chicken Curry Recipe

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion until lightly browned. Stir in garlic, curry powder, cinnamon, paprika, bay leaf, ginger, sugar and salt. Continue stirring for 2 minutes. Add chicken pieces, tomato paste, yogurt, and coconut milk. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.

  3. Remove bay leaf, and stir in lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Simmer 5 more minutes.
