Spiced carrots and peas with tomato sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Indian Carrots and Peas

1 tsp cumin seeds
2 onions
1 pepper, green chilli
1 clove garlic
5 g ginger
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tomato
250 g peas
125 g carrot

Recipe Directions for Indian Carrots and Peas

  1. Fru cumin seeds till they crackle

  2. Add onion and fry until soft

  3. Add chili, garlic and ginger and cook for 2 minutes

  4. Add ground spices and fry for another 2 minutes

  5. Add tomato and cook for further 2 minutes

  6. and carrots and peas, stir and cook covered until softened
