Traditional style spaghetti sauce with peppers, onions, mushrooms and garlic added.

Recipe Ingredients for Improved Spaghetti sauce

3 oz bell peppers
1 tbl garlic
1 green onion
4 oz mushrooms
1 tsp capers
14 1/2 oz (1 can) stewed tomatoes
26 oz (1 jar) pasta sauce

Recipe Directions for Improved Spaghetti sauce

  1. Spray pan with non-stick cooking spray. Saute' peppers, garlic, mushrooms, green onion, and capers.

  2. When vegetables are tender, add stewed tomatoes and pasta sauce. Stir until well-blended. Reduce heat to low, simmer for about 8 minutes.

  3. Serve over noodles.
