This salad is my quick-mix salad for when I need to balance my meals. I use japanese mayonnaise instead or regular mayonnaise for an extra kick.

Recipe Ingredients for Impromptu Salad

1 cup lettuce, shredded
1 tbsp cheese, grated
1 tomato, sliced
1/4 onion, sliced
1 tbsp mayonnaise

Recipe Directions for Impromptu Salad

  1. layer the ingredients nicely, starting with the lettuce. Top the lettuce with onions and tomato slices.

  2. Drizzle the mayonnaise on top. You may add a shake of salt and pepper on top of the mayonnaise, then sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

  3. Pack, or chill for 5 minutes before serving.
