Strawberry daifuku, makes 6 cakes. Use glutinous rice flour!

Recipe Ingredients for Ichigo Daifuku

1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
9 large strawberries

Recipe Directions for Ichigo Daifuku

  1. Put water and sugar in a heat-resistant bowl and mix well

  2. Add rice flour to the bowl, and mix again

  3. Put bowl in microwave and heat for 2 minutes

  4. Stir the dough

  5. Put in microwave until it inflates

  6. Stir quickly

  7. Dust a pan and hands with potato starch

  8. Place the dough unto the pan with your hands (be careful, it is hot)

  9. Divide dough into 6 pieces

  10. Put 1 strawberry in one dough bun and wrap the dough around

  11. Repeat throughout

  12. Your done!
