I start out every weekday with 1/2 of this tasty blend, then bring the other half to my mother at work. It's fabulously sweet and refreshing and will keep you full till lunchtime

Recipe Ingredients for Iana's Tasty Breakdast Smoothie

1 medium banana
3/4 cup yogurt
1 cup fruit juice
1 cup mango
1 cup frozen berries
1 cup ice

Recipe Directions for Iana's Tasty Breakdast Smoothie

  1. break banana into about 7 pieces and drop into blender

  2. pour in the fruit juice and pulse blend about 4 times, (I like "good belly blueberry acai" juice because it has pro-biotics in it)

  3. add the frozen mango chunks

  4. add the yogurt, I like to use kefir, (the "lifeway" brand not only tastes good, but they also observe humane practices for the treatment of their dairy cows)

  5. blend on a medium setting until you do not see any more large chunks of mango

  6. add the berries

  7. add the ice (using either crushed or small ice cubes is best)

  8. blend to desired consistency (if there is not enough liquid to blend smoothly add 1-2 tablespoons of water and re-blend)

  9. enjoy from a large insulated glass, I personally like my purple plastic tiki cup
