Recipe Ingredients for Hungry Girl's Oatmeal Raisin Softies

2 tbsp Splenda brown sugar blend
2 tbsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
2 tbsp Omega-3 with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Light Buttery Spread
2 tbsp Applesauce, unsweetened
2 tbsp egg beaters
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
0.33 c whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon, ground
1 dash salt
3/4 c old fashioned oats
1/4 c raisins, seedless

Recipe Directions for Hungry Girl's Oatmeal Raisin Softies

  1. In bowl, combine brown sugar, Splenda, butter, applesauce, egg substitute, and vanilla extract, and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk.

  2. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, and stir until completely mixed and smooth.

  3. Add oats and raisins, and mix until both are thoroughly coated with batter.

  4. Line a baking sheet w/parchment paper. Spoon batter onto the sheet into 6 evenly sized mounds. Spread into about 3" circles w/the back of the spoon.

  5. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

  6. Let cool on tray for 1 minute, then transfer paper to a cool surface and let cool completely.
